We loved the charm and warmth of the cabin, and enjoyed the prime location and Northstar perks. The Pullen team provided excellent service as well. Our only, but big complaint is the furniture and mattresses. The mattress spring either had sunken completely or they pop up hurting your back, depending on which bed you had. The bathrooms had no curtains or blinds, we needed to make our own covering during our stay just to shower in peace. But all that said, we still had a good time.
Thank you for your review! Since you posted your review of the mattresses this owner has purchased brand new mattresses for the master bed as well as the 2 twin beds. Simons Beauty Rest mattresses to be exact. The owner appreciated learning about the uncomfortable mattresses and wanted to correct this right away. Thanks again for letting us know. The Pullen Management Team.

The house had plenty of room, the hot tub was great, and the shuttle service was so convenient! The one shower was not even a problem.

We chose this home 4 weeks prior to our vacation because of its location, convenience to shuttle service, and value. We also enjoyed the private hot tub and fireplace. The house was sufficient for the size of our group, but there were definitely some things that could have been better. Mainly the beds. The bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable, it sagged in the middle and provided no support. I woke up everyday with back pain. The bed cover was an older wool like quilt, that had several rusty colored stains and was very itchy. I think i remember a kitten print or something. The upstairs bedroom wasn't much better. We were told that the two beds could be pushed together to make a queen/king but that didn't work due to the bed frames and the shape of the room. They were also very uncomfortable mattresses. The bathroom in the master bedroom is a tub with a detachable shower head handle. At first when i read this, i wasn't so concerned. But it was really difiicult to take a shower using the shower handle. The connection was loose and the water sprayed everywhere. The dishes in the the kitchen were useable but old. They also really lacked glassware and silverware. Instead we used alot of paper plates, plastic silverware, and plastic cups. But drinking wine out of plastic cups just isn't the same. I hate to sound like I'm complaining. We still had a fantastic vacation but little things could be done to update this property: New mattresses, sheets, silverware, glassware, install a shower in the master, and maybe get newer flat screen tv's. I would definitely book with Pullen Realty Group again, they were friendly and very helpful. But I probably wouldn't select this location again.

Location was fabulous. We loved being able to take the Northstar shuttle right from the driveway! Cabin was sweet and cozy : ) but, I don't recommend this for two families. We traveled with another family with kids and it was not great having both bathrooms on the first floor and all the other bedrooms, but the master, upstairs. Invconvenient and awkward! Plus one bathroom was in the master bedroom, so at night this meant that everyone sleeping upstairs had one bathroom for their use on a separate floor. Disappointed that this was not made clear in the listing.

I booked this house based on earlier reviews and the location at Northstar. The location was good and easy to access the shuttle as stated in earlier reviews, but we found the property dated and tired. While comfortable enough, appliances were old, a toaster oven would be helpful and bathroom set up was tricky. The shower was fine, but a tub with a handheld shower and no curtain made for a wet bathroom. We generally resorted to just using the one shower. It would be nice to have a 3 seater sofa plus a love seat instead of two love seats. With 5 or 6 of us there at any given time we could not all fit in front of the fireplace. The house was functional, but just seemed tired and dated.

We spent Christmas week here, Very cozy house, private setting and the bus pick's you up by your front door. We enjoyed being able to also have our dog with us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property! The house was very open and bright - and the ability to walk out the door and soak in our own private hot-tub was marvelous! The bus service around Northstar was incredibly easy to navigate. We felt very comfortable allowing our young teenagers to head into the village ahead of us - and come home after us - every day that we skied. Our only 'hardship' was not being able to get the T.V. to work in the Master Bedroom - but knowing us it was 'user' error!

Four of us enjoyed our stay. The home was cozy and just what we needed. Pullen Group was easy to work with & included a lovely gift basket upon our arrival. The home is situated on a quiet court. Great hills in the back for sledding. My only suggestion is sharp knives in the kitchen.

We had two issues. One being the sofas. After a long day on the slopes the back of the sofas were not high enough to support the top of my back. I am small only 5'4". It would have been nice to be able to relax on some comfortable sofas. Issue two not enough towels. We could not find any additional towels. So if you got it wet coming out of the hot tub, you had to use a wet cloren smelling towel after a shower. Other then those issues the house met our needs and was great.
Thank you for your review. After reading your review this owner has purchased some big fluffy beach towels that guests can use around the hot tub. Sofas with higher backs are next on his list!
