We traveled with three families and LOVED this house. It is beautiful, comfortable, and we miss it already. The floor plan was ideal for a large group. The kitchen was fully equiped and the bed/bath linens were of very high quality. The house is about a one minute drive to Squaw Valley which has free, convenient parking. Our kids loved the bunk room and the snowy backyard. The foosball table was a huge hit for our kids. The service we received from Pullen Realty was also top rate. This is probably one of the nicest mountain homes that we have ever stayed in. We had a little trouble operating the TV/VCR. An instruction sheet would have been helpful. I would recommend staggering showers/baths/laundry as the hot water ran out one evening. We would stay at this house again in a second.

Great house near the base of the mountain. Loved the long dining room table which enabled all 15 of us to eat together every night. Pullen took care of us and made sure the apartment was pristine when we got there.

Home was beautifully laid out for a large group. Entertaining with the deck and large yard was ideal for a large family gathering. The kitchen was the best part of the house. Easy to work in and well supplied. The Hot tub was great for the children however, I was not notified as to where the chlorine was to add to the hot tub. Per instructions, I called the proper person and problem solved! The upstairs bedrooms were very warm and a little uncomfortable. Again, a phone call and adequate portable fans were delivered. Overall, this was a great house for a large group. The location was perfect for other members of our party staying at the Village and the Resort at Squaw Creek. Easy and quick to locate. Very convenient. The mosquitos were bad and were in the house. This was not a fault of the rental but a common nuisance for the whole area this time of year. I would rent this house again and give the upstairs bedrooms to my least favorite people.

The house was great, very roomy, great kitchen area. One draw back was lack of viewing channels on Direct TV, but we will be renting this house again next year, it was a perfect location for our vacation. Thanks for the great service Pullen Rental. Mark F.

Nice place, but no hot water on arrival, and nobody available to come fix it til morning (after many calls). Luckily, the handier folks in the group figured out that the pilot was out and lit it. Other minor annoyances: High-pitched squeal when the water is running. No sharp knives (but rental houses never have those!)

Simply this place is great. If you can get enough people to bring the cost down or have the wallet for it, this place is the best ski cabin I've ever stayed in. The only major flaw is the water heater, it runs out too quickly. It even seemed the spa suffered from the same heating issue. If they can fix/replace the hot water system this place will be blemish free.

Gathering for the 75th birthday of Dad/Granddad. The facility was excellent for this group of up to eleven. I appreciated the rapid response to clearing the Spa though the shower problem was never corrected. The location is excellent - off the SQ main road and very close to SQ Village. Tram/Bugee/weather/hiking/Lake Tahoe/bicycling/just siting and talking/ etc. Bear issues were experienced without any trouble though the fact that a bear had been about in the local area for a week or two would have been good to know. On the whole

Very nice property with lots of amenities. Lots of bed space which is nice when bringing a family. Gorgeous kitchen and a nice two car garage. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here and would recommend it to others and would rent it again. A few minor things though 1) the garbage compactor doesn't work, I would either fix it or supply garbage cans in the kitchen 2)sateliite TV did not work...I would suppose b/c the dish had snow on it. We have Direct TV ourselves so this is not new to us. Would recommend a heated cover for the dish itself. 3) Upon arrival, encountered about a foot of fresh snow in the driveway..which made getting our two 4 wheel drive vehicles a bit challenging given the incline of the driveway, otherwise the snow removal was great. 4) I would recommend curtains be placed over the two upstairs bathroom windows for privacy concerns, especially if females are using the showers. Overall though, this is a fabulous place to stay and the steam shower in the masterbath was great!!

For the most part, the place looks the way it does in the pictures. However we rented this place in July when the weather outside was in the mid 90's. This place has no a/C, which was not the biggest deal because they did have fans. The problem was there were no screens on both sliding glass doors and the majority of the windows. Because there were no screens, we couldn't open the majority of the doors and windows due to the mosquitoes. In addition, there were a lot of sky lights which made the place very hot inside. Also, the fixtures on the upstairs bathroom sinks were very loose which made it hard to control the water pressure resulting in water spraying everywhere. The bedroom upstairs with 2 beds in it has one window with no curtain attached which made the room very bright and hot first thing the morning (also because the window has no screen on it so you can't open it unless you want to let the bugs in). The place was updated however so the bathroom were very clean. Overall, the place was just okay and we probably won't be staying there again, at least not in the summer.

Pros: Excellent location-- within walking distance to Squaw. Great hiking nearby and about 15 mins. to Truckee and Tahoe City. Has a great little grassy area in the backyard. Lots of beds and sleeping space-- can accommodate several guests. House was clean. Pullen was generally responsive and helpful. Cons: Extremely loud construction nearby. I know this wasn't in Pullen's control but I wish they knew the property well enough to warn me of this. Located directly on a very busy road adding to the high noise level. The grill was incredibly filthy and looked as though it had never been properly cleaned. We had to spend nearly 2 hours buying basic cleaning tools (who doesn't own a grill brush?) and cleaning it-- not exactly how you want to spend your time on vacation. Serious concerns: Hot water was severely limited and really only enough for about 2 consecutive showers! Pullen kindly sent a plumber out and it was discovered that the hot water heater was installed illegally! As a result, it limited hot water capacity and worst of all, posed a serious carbon monoxide hazard (the plumber gave us a list of things to do to mitigate the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. To my mind, this was totally unacceptable. Pullen really should inspect their properties carefully to ensure that everything is installed cirrectly before renting them. We have rented from other companies in Tahoe and elsewhere and have never had such issues. I would not rent this house until the hot water heater is installed correctly and I think Pullen should not be renting it. Ultimately, a lot of my vacation time was wasted on cleaning, dealing with a plumber and plumbing issues, and reassuring my family that the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning was relatively low-- not exactly how I envisioned the trip especially for the amount of money spent.

Loved staying here. 4 couples and 6 kids. Big open central rooms, and an awesome hot tub with deck and big yard. The kids loved sharing the bunk bedroom, and made lifetime memories :) We were very close to Squaw, which was fab. 3 minute drive. Hope to stay here again :) Thanks.
