We had a great stay. Pullen realty was well organized, the condo appeared to be clean, and instructions for using the condo were well written. I would give 5 stars, except that my wife woke up on our final night with a huge cockroach crawling up her arm. We didn't see any in the condo but still not the greatest thing.

The condo had everything we needed. Shuttle pickup was great for the snowboarders, and newish recreation center facility was good for non-skiers. Northstar Village has some nice choices for a snack, coffee, or drink.

The only positive about this rental was the location. It was excellent and easy to get to the village. The actual unit was dirty (I found a spilled/spoiled drink or vomit - not sure what it was- behind the downstairs bed) and the carpets were smelly and wet. There were few towels (for a place that sleeps 8+ people) and no extra blankets whatsoever. The "kids room" was advertised as sleeping 4. It slept 3. The pull out couch was dirty and there were no sheets for it (I wouldn't let my kids sleep on it). The resort passes were not in the unit, as advertised, so we were unable to go to the fitness center. And to top it off, there was a gas leak in the unit one night (which they did fix promptly).

We liked this home very much because it allowed us to spend time with a couple of friends, but at the same time it gave us a lot of privacy because of the 3 levels. We have a two year old son and we slept of the bottom level. Our friends stayed at the top level and the second level was the living/dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is a pretty good size and well equipped. The updated bathrooms are not fancy but they are functional. The convenience of using the shuttle to go sky in the morning was great. The only downside to this place is the fact that the bottom floor is a lot colder than the top two floors, but you can use an extra blanket in bed! I would definitely come back to this place if I were to come sky to Northstar.

You want a nice place, close to the village and slopes. This is it. Nice well stocked kitchen. Lots of fire wood. and the rooms are nice. The rooms are warm and cozy. The place was very clean when we got there. The bus service pick you up right outside the door and carrys you to the village. No car needed. Grocery stores are kinda far away. Recommend bringing your food. Other than that no car is needed. Town busses pick up at the village and carry you everywhere. Get a day pass. Would I stay here again. Absolutely.

We like Northstar a lot, from previous times there. This unit was good, clean and a good location. We were very uncomfortable however with the animal heads on the wall. I know that is the owner's choice. It just made the living space uncomfortable for some in our party. Other than that all was good. Pullen was excellent to work with.

The condo, like many in this area of North Star, was just old - clean, but old. Most of the outlets are too loose to actually hold the plug in reliably. The downstairs thermostat does not work, so the downstairs heat is controlled by the upstairs thermostat making the downstairs cold and the upstairs like an inferno. It took most of the vacation to figure out the right setting for comfort. The kitchen is stocked well enough. Basically, the cheap price and the many discounts were well deserved.

Overall, we enjoyed our experience at Northstar and the condo. It was conveniently located near the Village, so the ride was pretty short. For the most part, the shuttle was extremely prompt, though there were 2 instances when it took 30 minutes to arrive! The accomodations was pleasant. There were a few minor maintenance issues (lights not working, batteries out in the TV remote) but otherwise the condo was in nice condition.

Although the unit itself is up a little ways from the parking area, the overall location is great! The shuttle was quick to arrive when called and we could be on the slopes within minutes of leaving the home. Most everything we needed in the home was available, including sleds for the kids! We had a very comfortable stay.

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo was functional and laid out well consdering we had adults and teenagers. Little things (almost dead battereis in remote control and smoke alarm, burnt out light bulbs) were bothersome and we couldn't figure out how to make the thermostats work to keep the condo at even temperatures. It is clean with a great working kitchen, enough dishes and utensils, pots and pans so were weren't running the dishwasher after every meal...and most importantly, what is not to love about Northstar, it's shuttle service, etc. We would return to this condo again. Better and more chairs around the dining table would be a gret addition!

The condo itself poor-average. The thermostat was almost unworkable. The people downstairs were cooking in their beds while the thermostat on the central level was set to 64 at night. After the first unpleasant night they had to totally close their vents downstairs. That worked a little better. The next night the master bedroom was freezing upstairs. Where are the air returns vs. the thermostat? Not fun! One of the dinning room chairs' wicker seats was totally broken that you would probably fall through if you sat on it. When we checked in the buzzer for the timer on the stove was buzzing constantly. Very irritating! I called it in to Pullen on Sat afternoon and it was fixed on Wed! When we checked in on Sat there were no hangers in the closets anywhere in the unit. We had to buy our own and submit the receipt for reimbursement. There was about 6 pieces of firewood for our 7 night stay when we got there along with a small supply of toilet paper for 5 adults. We received the firewood and TP on Tuesday. So our stay, once the buzzer on the stove was fixed on Wednesday, was what it should have been on Saturday when we checked in. Then just wrestled with the thermostat from there on. On a positive note the girls on the phones, Wendy etc, were very pleasant and did what they could. The rest is just execution.
Thank you for your review. Our check-in agents attempt to prepare all of our units with adequate amenities, i.e. firewood, TP, paper towels, soaps, but we can often underestimate the usage of our guests. We apologize that we were not able to immediately rectify the needs of these guests, but during high-traffic weekends, non-emergency requests can take up to 24 hours to resolve. In light of their complaints, we will be looking into the thermostat and oven issue, and we appreciate guest comments on the units so we can better prepare the unit for the next guests. Thank you again.<br /> The Pullen Management Team.

The townhouse was exactly as described and photographed on the website and lovely and clean. The shuttle bus was straight outside the door with only a short wait to take us to the village and the recreation centre even though it was a very busy holiday period. There were spare blankets, light bulbs and batteries in the kitchen. Everything we needed for our 3 kids (4, 6 and 8) as well as my parent in laws was provided. We stayed at the Hyatt at Northstar last winter which is lovely but very expensive compared to this which has exactly the same amenities. We would all recomend this townhouse for a stay in either summer or winter and would stay there again.
